Xanthan gum


Xanthan gum is an anionic polysaccharide that is derived from Xanthomonas campestris by a pure-culture fermentation process. Xanthan gum is a food grade thickener and stabilizer.

High Viscosity at low use percentages
Good freeze/thaw stability
Natural thickener for shampoo/body wash, lotions and creams
Compatible with a wide variety of surfactants, fragrance and essential oils but may settle out of solution over time.
Easily disperses in room temperature water – can be heated once product is completely hydrated.
