Jojoba oil, a multi-purpose product: recipe for a make-up remover lotion
Posted by Magasin Shop onJojoba vegetable oil, a natural treasure for your skin.
Healing, regenerating, moisturizing and softening, jojoba oil can be used on all skin types. Sebum-regulating, it balances the skin's sebum production for a clearer complexion. Non-greasy, it has a texture texture. Its golden color naturally restores radiance to the skin. It also naturally contains a light sun protection factor.
It can also be used on hair as an oil bath, and is a real delight for nourishing, restoring shine and regulating scalp sebum (rinse afterwards and shampoo at least once).
It can also be used as a make-up remover for the face and eyes.
Either pure on the skin, to gently remove make-up with fingers and massage, or with a reusable wet wipe. Or it can easily be transformed into a lighter, two-phase make-up remover lotion by adding water and a hydrosol.
Here's our recipe for making your own two-phase lotion:
Difficulty level: Easy
Time to make: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 25gr orange blossom hydrosol (or the hydrosol of your choice)
- 50gr water (filtered or demineralized)
- 15gr jojoba oil
- 15 drops geogard preservative
Equipment
- Bowl
- Balance
- Whisk
- 100ml bottle
- Pump cap (optional, but more practical for measuring out your make-up remover. On sale in our boutique and on our website)
2-step recipe:
- In a bowl, weigh out all ingredients one by one and whisk together after each addition.
- Pour into a bottle.
Directions for use: Use this make-up remover lotion with a reusable wipe. Shake the bottle to mix the 2 phases before use. The lotion removes make-up from face and eyes and keeps skin moisturized.
Focus on ingredients:
Orange blossom hydrolate: Balances all skin types, especially sensitive skin. It adds a subtle, flowery fragrance to your home cosmetics. Note that you can use any other hydrosol that suits your skin type in this recipe.
