Our tips to welcome the warm weather
Posted by Magasin Shop onNature is slowly emerging from its winter slumber, and a physical and spiritual rebirth is taking place. To accompany this spring-driven process of transformation, it can be beneficial to adapt your lifestyle, eating and beauty habits.
- Adapt your skincare routine
It's not necessary to radically modify your beauty routine during spring, but it may be worthwhile to adapt it slightly to prepare your skin and gently accustom it to the sun. Exfoliating your skin once a week will also free it from all the dead cells that clog it up. You can now opt for a lighter face cream (jojoba face cream, for example) and add a few drops of carrot oily macerate or glowing skin serum (Ecogarantie certified) to prepare your skin for tanning and boost its radiance right away.
- Taking care of your body from the inside out
Spring is the ideal time to get your body used to a lighter diet. Focus on nutrient-rich foods such as seasonal fruits and vegetables (radishes, asparagus, beet, strawberries, cherries, peaches, rhubarb, for example) and lean proteins (fish, eggs, yoghurts, legumes, tofu), and reduce your intake of heavier foods typically eaten during the colder winter months (dairy-based dishes, sauces, baked goods, etc.). First thing in the morning, drink a glass of water at body temperature to quickly flush out acids and toxins accumulated in the intestines and organs. You can also start your morning by sipping an infusion of hot water with ½ freshly squeezed lemon, freshly grated turmeric and ginger to help alkalize your body and stimulate your digestive secretions.
- Bring spring into your home
A thorough spring-cleaning will really help you make room for renewal. Getting rid of clothes or objects you no longer use by donating them to friends and family or an association, growing new plants, diffusing essential oils in your diffuser (lemon, sweet orange, peppermint, rosemary verbenone for their detoxifying action and to limit your state of fatigue), airing your interiors for a long time will help you revitalize your home and sort things out in your head too.
- Get active outdoors
With the return of fine weather and longer days, it's ideal to get active outdoors. To recharge your batteries, opt for a gentle walk in the forest. Choose a brisk walk or run if you feel the need to get more active. Complement your physical exercise in the fresh air with meditation and yoga sessions to reconnect with yourself and regain calm and serenity.
